2012.. probably the best year in my life i would say.. so many things have happened.. so many people have come and gone in my life.. so many new experiences.. the loss of a very dear person in my life from this world and so the list continues.. its pretty long... and im pretty sure its the same for the world out there too.. from jumps from the space to tragedies and of course Gangnam Style... its pretty eventful too... well i havnt blogged as much as the last year in this year.. mainly probably coz i was too busy.. sooo many things in my life to take care of.. so many events.. gosh.. started off the year with cousins and relatives like in the past few years.. and then the next few days went on to become very dramatic in my life.. a certain event that only very close frnds of mine wud knw of.. and then took a shap 90 o turn thanks to some awesome friends in my life and to some new friends that i found through volunteering and what not..  some of the most interesting/remem...

its been a looooooooong time.. a very very long time since ive put an update on whats been happening with me and my beautiful steady unstable awesome super duper life.. :) to be precise nearly 8-9 months i guess.. and trust me, there's a preeeeeeeeeeeeeety lot thats happened over the last few months... life's been good i wud say.. kinda treated me well and with a bit of fairness compared to other times.. I may have taken one or two bad decisions over the time, but i know i certainly did take one particular decision that i know i will regret for quite a long time.. :) but then past is past.. time to more on i say..  V awards, exams, assignments, festivals, parties, tours, first family trip abroad, colombo+20, cricturf, connect, youth day, cgye, new friends, new experiences, new responsibilities, revelations, and omg.. the list just keeps going on.. Im sure everyone probably knows what V Awards is by now.. if not, just find the post i did about v awards somewhere in...

so so so.. its been more than a month since ive posted here and i think it is time now to post something and update this blog of mine on things happening around and with me in the past month or so..  With ramadan coming to an end at the end of August, it was time for assignment submissions, exams and what not in the academic life to come along as the semester was coming to an end.. but this time, the fun started in a different way.. that was with Thomian Fair 2011.. the most awaited fair in Sri Lanka held every few years was back.. and this time bigger and better than the last time when it was held 7 years ago.. it was a fun filled event with a packed crowd and being one of those people who helped in what ever way possible for the fair to become a success, im proud of myself for what i did in addition to having all the fun with friends.. but like they always say.. when good things happen, sumthing will try to ruin it.. oh yes... its assignments.. even during the fair, there...

so its been quite a loooooong time since I blogged and so I decided to take some time off today and put something up.. well jst to say that yeah im still living... and yeah im still having a straight mind.. and to just put out some stuff that's been happening in my life.. well its been some hectic time during the past few weeks.. submissions, study sessions, exams and the list goes on and on and on... sigh.. surprised that I got thru all that and still standing straight with a clear mind.. with the end of the World Cup 2011 and the IPL also starting and taking up much precious "study time" of ordinary students that too came to and end jst to start the SL tour of england... and its been cricket.. cricket.. and cricket all along.. and simply love it.. and so wats happening with my education.. nothing much.. had some hectic weeks with back to back assignment submissions.. and then presentations... thank god it all went well... and all because i had a pretty awesome set...

long time since i last wrote n there's lots that has happened.... phew.... so here i go... so since 31st of August 2010 on which day I was officially declared an Old Boy of the place that i called my second home for 13.5 long years.. a place where i learned many things... a place that is so close to me.. a place that i made friends that last forever... etc etc etc, I now start a new life at another place that I hope to call my second home for the next 3 years... yes... with school over... OL's n AL's over... Results out... i now start my university life.. PHEW!!! and this place that i intend to call my new second home is APIIT... started my B.Sc. (Hons) Computing (Software Engineering) around two weeks back.. two weeks and its ok upto now... not bad... looks ok.. OS n C Programming are the best modules!!! also fun these two modules... seriously its been only 3 weeks (1 week orientation + 2 weeks lectures) n APIIT is different it seems... when u look at the way guys n ...

so you all probably know about this story by now.... this is about the man who on the wee hours of the 14th of September (yesterday) climbed the 40 feet or so high skeleton structure used for a cutout of Mahinda Rajapakse during the Presidential Elections and protested that the president either comes and meets him or be given a chance to meet the president over his grievances else he would drink poison and jump off the tower and commit suicide!! now... why this post?? well just wanted to write my opinions on this incident, how it was handled by the emergency teams (police and fire brigade) etc.. well we all know what happened.. this man apparently climbed this towering structure at around 5.00am in the morning yesterday, placed a few banners along the way up saying why he was doing it and then went to the top wearing a motocycle jacket and a helmet with his face covered with a handkerchief... this guy apparently had some grievances of his own which he wanted to say to the president ...

so you guys would have already seen this making the rounds in the internet and all... but i never saw in any website where a whole list of the stuff thats there on the table been published.. so here i go.. i make the effort.. found a good high res pic (thx to labnol/digital inspiration) and with much difficulty trying to figure out wat is wat n put it here... so here i go... if i can read one, i will jst put da symbol only or "x" marks... Yc 08 - YouTubes YouChoose '08 channel featured 14 presidential candidates, 4 candidates from the senatariol race, and 1 Gubernatorial race. Ht 46 - Google's Person Finder app helped track 46...
